Specialist heritage glazing & slim sealed units

Terms of Specification & Supply

Last Updated: 30 October 2026

1. Quotation Calculator Basis

The Heritage.glass configurator is an architectural specification and quotation enquiry tool. Output summaries do not constitute an instant sale, binding price tariff, or guarantee of supplier production availability. All quotations are subject to formal supplier review, transport logistics, and raw material availability.

2. Sizing, Clearances & Manufacturing Tolerances

Entered dimensions must represent finished unit sizes in millimetres. The customer is solely responsible for verifying frame squareness, timber rebate condition, rebate depth, and setting block clearances. The owner-supplied ±1mm tolerance guideline applies strictly to overall sealed unit thickness; it does not apply to panel width, height, or installation rebate fit.

3. Thermal & Performance Declarations

Stated U-values are owner/supplier indicative baselines for Low-E units with Argon, Krypton, or Xenon cavities. Exact declared centre-pane Ug and whole-window Uw figures must be confirmed by your chosen manufacturing supplier for the exact unit build-up prior to contract.

4. Statutory Consent & Planning

Choosing Goethe restoration glass or slim sealed units does not automatically grant planning permission or Listed Building Consent. All conservation permissions must be secured independently with the relevant local authority.
